About Bey Logan 關於近彼岸

Bey Logan has been a successful production executive at several major Hong Kong film companies, including Media Asia, where he worked on the ‘Gen-X Cops’ movies. At Emperor Motion Picture Group he wrote the Jackie Chan epic ‘The Medallion’ and produced the hit ‘Twins Effect’, before becoming Vice-President of Asia for The Weinstein Company.

In terms of Asian cinema, Bey has a unique range of experience, as a writer, producer, sales agent, distributor and acquisitions executive.  He was instrumental in setting up and operating the hugely successful British DVD labels Hong Kong Legends and Premier Asia, and the US label Dragon Dynasty which has proved to be the most successful platform yet for this genre.  He has been named one of ”Top Ten DVD Heroes” by the influential film magazine Empire.

近彼岸曾於香港著名大型電影公司如「寰亞綜藝集團」和「英皇娛樂集團」擔任監製，參與賣座電影包括《特警新人類》、《千機變》，及編寫成龍電影《飛龍再生》。他自2005年任職美國溫斯坦公司 (The Weinstein Company) 亞洲區的副總統，至2009年成立「近楊制作」。

近彼岸尤其對亞洲電影界擁有豐富而獨特的經驗，涉足寫作、監製、發行及銷售代理等多個範疇。他幫忙建立異常成功的英國DVD品牌Hong Kong Legends、Premier Asia及美國品牌Dragon Dynasty。權威電影雜誌Empire稱近彼岸為「十大DVD英雄」之一。
